Privacy
Where a link is marked *, it is a partner link — we receive commission at no extra cost to you. Links without a * earn us nothing. How we make money.
We’ve written this in plain English because we think privacy notices should actually be readable. Last updated 19 July 2026.
No advertising. No tracking pixels. We don’t embed Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any other advertising or cross-site tracking on Money Guide. We don’t set advertising cookies.
Cloudflare Web Analytics. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may collect privacy-preserving, cookieless analytics on our behalf (Cloudflare Web Analytics). It does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across websites.
Cookies & local storage. Money Guide sets no cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is a small anonymous flag if you use the “was this page helpful” feedback widget — it contains no personal data, never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings. Because we set no cookies and run no trackers, there is no cookie banner to click through.
Affiliate outbound links. Some pages link to banks, card providers and other firms using affiliate links marked *. If you click through and open a product, that third party may set its own cookies and process your data under its privacy policy — not ours. We use rel="nofollow sponsored" on those outbound links as required by Google. See how we make money for the full disclosure rules.
No accounts. You don’t need to sign up to read anything. We don’t collect names, emails or financial information on this site.
Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, request path, user agent) for security and performance. These are deleted on a rolling basis and are never used for marketing.
If you contact us by email or post, we keep your message only as long as we need to handle your enquiry. We don’t add you to any mailing list. Email [email protected].
Your rights. The UK GDPR gives you rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Contact us using the details on the contact page. The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) is the UK regulator and you can complain to them at any time.
