About this service
Where a link is marked *, it is a partner link — we receive commission at no extra cost to you. Links without a * earn us nothing. How we make money.
Money Guide is a free, independent UK money information service. We exist because getting straight answers about money in the UK shouldn’t depend on what someone is trying to sell you.
Every guide is written in plain English by our editorial team, fact-checked against UK rules from HMRC, the FCA, the PRA, the Bank of England and the relevant government departments, and reviewed at least every two months.
Who publishes Money Guide
Money Guide is a trading name of Elite Digital AI Solutions Ltd, registered in England and Wales at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Companies House registration number 17250017.
How we ’re funded
Money Guide is funded by commission, not by you. We do not run display adverts and we do not charge readers. Our income comes from partner links — outbound links marked * where a live partner relationship exists. We receive commission at no extra cost to you when you click a marked link and complete an action with a third party. Links without a * earn us nothing.
That funding model is deliberate and transparent: affiliate income keeps guides free, but it never decides what we write or how we order products. When we link to a provider, regulator or tool, it is because it is relevant to the topic — not because we were paid to feature it in editorial.
Every guide is, and will always remain, free to read — no paywall, no sign-up, nothing locked away. Learn more about how we make money.
What we don’t do
- We don’t give personal advice. Everything here is general information. For a recommendation tailored to your situation, speak to an FCA-regulated adviser.
- We don’t sell or hold products. We’re not a broker, lender or introducer. We don’t hold customer accounts and we don’t handle your money. Some links marked * may take you to third-party providers.
- We don’t cover non-UK rules. Every guide is written for people living in the UK. If you live outside the UK, the rules and protections we describe almost certainly do not apply to you.
