Accessibility

Where a link is marked *, it is a partner link — we receive commission at no extra cost to you. Links without a * earn us nothing. How we make money.

We’re working towards full conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML with a single <h1> per page and a logical heading order.
  • Visible focus states on every interactive element.
  • A skip-to-content link at the top of every page.
  • Text contrast that meets AA contrast ratios across the site palette.
  • No autoplaying audio or video. No flashing content.
  • Zero-JS rendering of every guide — the content works even with JavaScript disabled.
  • Generous tap targets (at least 44 × 44 CSS pixels) on touch devices.

Known limitations

We continually audit the site and welcome feedback. If you find a page that isn’t accessible to you, please email [email protected] or use the contact page and we’ll fix it as a priority.

Your rights and enforcement

As a private service provider, Money Guide is covered by the Equality Act 2010, which requires service providers to make reasonable adjustments so that disabled people are not placed at a substantial disadvantage. If you’re unhappy with our response to an accessibility concern, you can get free, confidential advice from the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
