Where a link is marked *, it is a partner link — we receive commission at no extra cost to you. Links without a * earn us nothing. How we make money.
The short version: Money Guide sets no cookies at all — which is why you don’t see a cookie banner here. Last updated 19 July 2026.
No first-party cookies. We do not set any cookies — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences. There is no tracking consent to collect because we run no advertising or cross-site tracking ourselves.
Cloudflare Web Analytics. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may collect privacy-preserving, cookieless analytics on our behalf (Cloudflare Web Analytics). It does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across websites — so it needs no cookie consent either.
One piece of local storage. If you use the “was this page helpful” feedback widget, your browser stores a small anonymous flag in localStorage so the widget remembers you already answered on that page. It contains no personal data, never leaves your device, and you can clear it any time through your browser settings. Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) this is functional storage, not tracking.
Third-party cookies after you leave. Links marked * take you to providers and comparison services via a clearly signposted redirect page. Once you arrive on a third party’s website, that company may set its own cookies — including affiliate-network cookies used to attribute any commission — under its own cookie policy, not ours. We have no access to or control over cookies set on other websites.
Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs for security and performance. These are covered in our privacy policy.
If this changes. If we ever introduce cookies or any analytics beyond the cookieless Cloudflare measurement described above, we will update this page first and add any consent mechanism the law requires before anything is set.
