In short: Fibre-to-the-premises runs fibre optic cable to your home — faster and more stable than part-fibre (FTTC), which uses copper from the street cabinet. Check Openreach or alt-net availability by postcode.

Upload speeds are typically much higher on FTTP — important for video calls.
