To change name on passport you apply for a new 10-year British passport in the name you now use. Send the original signed [change of name deed](instantdeedpoll.co.uk/change-of-name-deed*) (an unenrolled deed poll) plus one record showing the new name in use — usually a bank statement, employer letter or utility bill from the last 12 months, or a UK driving licence issued after the deed.
