# How much is Pension Credit worth?

## In short

Pension Credit tops up weekly income to minimum levels — Guarantee Credit alone can be worth about £3,900 a year on average for those who qualify, plus passported help such as Council Tax Reduction, Warm Home Discount and a free TV licence for over-75s.

Guarantee Credit lifts singles and couples to income floors set by DWP — exact amounts update each April. Even a small award triggers passported benefits that can exceed the credit payment itself.
